Do my lyric files put lyrics on streaming services?
What your SRT and LRC files are for, and what they don’t do.
No. The LRC file you download from lyrik.fm is just for you. It doesn’t send your lyrics to Spotify, Apple Music or any other streaming service.
Your full-video download includes:
- SRT captions, for a video player or site that accepts SRT.
- LRC lyrics, for a music player that reads that timing format.
lyrik.fm doesn’t release your song or post a video for you. You choose where your files go.
To get lyrics showing on streaming services, ask the distributor that releases your music how they handle lyrics. A lyrik.fm video isn’t made as a Spotify Canvas either.
