Why does the link ask ‘Sign in as you@example.com?’
When the sign-in link asks you to confirm the account before continuing.
Opening a sign-in link in a different browser can show 'Sign in as you@example.com?' before it signs you in. Check that the address is yours, then choose 'Sign in'.
When confirmation is skipped
The link can sign in directly if this browser asked for that email, or is already signed in as that address. Otherwise the confirmation helps prevent an email scanner from using the link and stops an unexpected link from silently switching accounts.
If the page says you are signed in as someone else, continuing switches to the address shown. Close it if you did not ask for that link.
The cloud code and link last 10 minutes and work once. Using either uses the other. If you used the link in another browser, return to the browser you want to use and ask for a fresh code there. See Link opened elsewhere.
See Sign-in problems if your code or link still fails.
