What happens to an unreleased song I upload?
Account access, processing and the privacy details to review before uploading an unreleased recording.
Your cloud project belongs to the account that uploads it. Opening the project or requesting a download checks that you are signed into that account. A project link does not give another account edit access.
The service processes your audio, lyrics and artwork to make the sync and video. It does not post the video to your social or streaming accounts. You choose where to upload the download.
Before uploading an unreleased recording
- Check that you can confirm the upload rights statement.
- Read the draft Privacy page and draft Terms, including the points awaiting legal review.
- Use the account where you want to keep the project.
- Keep your own source files and finished video.
Earlier cloud analysis is reused only from an eligible ready project on the same account. File download links expire, but someone who receives a valid download URL can use it while it remains valid. Treat those URLs as private.
Processor terms, processing locations and no-training wording are still under review. Account access checks do not settle those questions. For a release-sensitive concern, email hello@lyrik.fm before uploading. See How long files are kept.
