Are my sync fixes saved, and can I undo them?

Fixes save themselves; Undo keeps 30 steps until you reload.

Yes: every fix saves itself about 1.5 seconds after you make it, and Undo steps back through your last 30 changes.

How saving works

  • You don't need to press a save button. A second or two after each change, lyrik saves it.
  • Looks right and Skip, it looks right save too, before they take you to the styles.
  • Sync fixes are free. However many you make, they never cost credits.

See the save status

The save status sits in the More tools bar.

  1. Tap More tools.
  2. Look next to Undo. You'll see one of:
    • 'Saving…': your change is on its way.
    • 'Saved': everything is saved.
    • 'Unsaved': you've just made a change and it will save in a moment.
    • 'Not saved': the last save didn't work.

Undo a change

  1. Tap More tools.
  2. Press Undo. Each press steps back one change.

On a computer, press Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows), with or without More tools open.

Good to know

  • Undo remembers 30 steps. Older changes can't be undone.
  • Undo history is lost when you reload or leave the page. Your saved fixes stay. You just can't undo them one by one any more.
  • There's no button yet to go back to lyrik's original timing. If a tapping session went wrong, use Undo before you reload, or tap along again.
  • The save status only shows under More tools. If Looks right seems to do nothing, open More tools to see why.

If something goes wrong

  • 'Not saved'. Check your connection. Then make another change, or press Looks right: both try the save again. Don't reload until it says 'Saved', or you'll lose the changes that weren't saved.
  • 'Looks right' does nothing. The save failed, so lyrik stayed on Sync to keep your fixes. Open More tools, check the status, and try again once you're back online.
  • 'Line l12 is not valid'. The save was turned down. Reload the page and make the change again.
  • Undo is greyed out. There's nothing to undo since you opened the page.
