How do I finish syncing, and can I come back to it later?

Press Looks right to save your sync and move on to the styles, and come back to it any time with the Sync step at the top of the page.

How to finish

1. When nothing is left to check, the button at the bottom of the Sync screen reads Looks right. Press it.
2. Still have amber lines but happy with them? Press the quieter Skip, it looks right instead. It does the same thing.
3. lyrik saves your sync and opens the Style step: 'Pick a style.'

How to come back to Sync

The strip at the top shows Track, Sync, Style and Download.

1. Tap Sync in the strip (it says 'Back to sync' when you hover over it). Or press Back to sync in the style studio.
2. Make your changes. They save themselves.
3. Press Looks right to return to the styles. Your style and choices are just as you left them.

Good to know

• Going back is free. Sync edits never cost credits, before or after you pick a style.
• Your style updates with your fixes. The preview and the style pictures follow your new timing.
• A clip you moved is re-fitted to the new timing, so it still starts and ends cleanly, never in the middle of a word.
• Track can't be reopened. To replace the audio or add missing lines, start a new video. You can correct words in Check the words and change the artwork with Colour → Change cover. See Starting another project with the same audio.
• Bought your video already? You can still fix the sync. The video you’ve already downloaded won’t change by itself, so check the Download step for your options.

If something goes wrong

• 'Looks right' does nothing. The save failed, so lyrik kept you on Sync. Open More tools to see the save status. See Are my sync fixes saved?
• Your browser's Back button seems to do nothing on Sync. Press it again and you'll land on an empty start page. Use the step strip at the top instead. If you've lost your song, open it from Your videos. See Where are my videos?
• You left and want to carry on. Open the song from Your videos at the top of the page, or with your project link.

Hidden extras

• Skip, it looks right is there from the start, even in tap mode, if you're happy with what you hear.
• You can switch between songs from Your videos and land on the same step.
