Which changes are free, and which cost credits?

Styling your video and fixing the sync are always free and show at once; you only spend credits on new syncs and on downloads.

Always free

In the studio:

• Every style, font, colour, lyric size and background.
• Shuffle for a new take, and Energy.
• Switching between 16:9 and 9:16.
• Moving or resizing your clip.
• Big words: which word stands out on each line.

On the Sync screen:

• Fixing timing: nudging a line or a word, Tap along, and Shift every line.
• Fixing the spelling of words in a line.
• Marking or unmarking ad-libs.

And also:

• Syncing the exact same audio again on your account.
• Downloading again anything your song already has.

None of these need the song analysed again, so they show straight away.

Costs credits

• A new sync: 10 credits (about 10p), once per track on your account.
• Trying again after a failed sync: 10 credits, given back automatically if that try fails too.
• Downloads: HD video £4.99$5.99€5.99CA$8.99A$8.99 (500 credits), 4K £6.99$7.99€7.99CA$11.99A$11.99 (700), a clip on its own £1.49$1.79€1.79CA$2.69A$2.69 (150).
• Upgrades: only the difference. HD to 4K is £2.00$2.00€2.00CA$3.00A$3.00 (200 credits). A clip to the full HD video is £3.50$4.20€4.20CA$6.30A$6.30 (350).
• Another clip window from the same song: £0.99$1.19€1.19CA$1.79A$1.79 (100 credits).
• New audio, such as a corrected master or a new mix: this is a new upload and a new project, so it is synced and bought again.

Can’t be changed after upload

Some things are fixed once your song is uploaded:

• Which lines exist (you can’t add, delete, split or merge lines).
• The language.
• The song title and artist name.
• The cover art.

To change any of these, start a new video with the same audio file. If it’s the very same file, syncing it again can be free. See Starting another project with the same audio

Good to know

• Downloads belong to the project. If you start a new video for the same song, downloads on the new one are charged again. Fix lines, title and cover before you buy.
