Making your video calmer or punchier with Energy
Choose Calm, Normal or Hype and check the parts with the strongest movement.
'Energy' changes how strongly your style moves with the music. It does not change your audio or the lyric timing.
Change the energy
- On Style, open 'More ways to tweak it'. On a phone, open 'More'.
- Find 'Energy'.
- Choose 'Calm', 'Normal' or 'Hype'.
- Play both a verse and a chorus to see the difference.
| Choice | The on-screen explanation |
|---|---|
| Calm | 'Gentle: less movement, softer hits' |
| Normal | 'As the style was made' |
| Hype | 'Bigger, punchier movement on the beat' |
Energy carries across when you switch styles. Each style responds in its own way, so check the result after switching. Editing and previewing this choice are free.
Flicker has no 'Energy' row: its cards cut from line to line whatever you choose. Use its 'Flashes' row for a calmer or wilder take.
For less screen movement, also check the style's camera, paper and screen-effect controls. 'Calm' is not a guarantee that a video contains no flashes.
