Where are the extra options? (‘More ways to tweak it’)

The less common settings, such as Shuffle, Energy, Big words and each style's own extras, sit behind More ways to tweak it, and it only shows the rows your style and song can use.

Step by step

• On a computer: at the foot of the right-hand panel, click More ways to tweak it (under it, a short list such as 'Shuffle, energy, big words'). A page opens: 'More for Marker' (or your style's name) and 'All optional.' Click the back arrow at the top, or press Esc, to go back.
• On a tablet: tap More ways to tweak it to open it, and again to close it. If you leave it open, it's open next time too.
• On a phone: tap the More tab.

What's inside

Only the rows that apply to your style and song appear, in this order:

Under the style's own rows, a quiet line says what the style decides for you, for example 'Marker chooses the capitals and where the lyrics sit for you.' or 'Xerox chooses where the lyrics sit for you.' If your lyrics have no ad-libs, it also says 'No ad-libs in your lyrics. You can mark them in Sync.'

Energy

• Energy follows you from style to style.
• In Deck, it also decides which type effects play, and it limits how much words melt so they stay readable.

Good to know

• Everything here is optional, free and saved by itself.
• Choices you make here are remembered for this style (background, position and the style's own rows) or for every style (energy, capitals, ad-libs).
• With a mouse, hover over an option to see what it does.

If something goes wrong

• A row I saw in another style is missing. Rows only appear when the style and your song use them. Capitals is hidden in styles that set their own capitals. Ad-libs only shows when your lyrics have ad-libs. Where the lyrics sit is only in Widescreen and Postscript.
