How do I undo my changes or reset a style?

There's no general undo in the studio yet: Undo steps back through your Shuffle takes only, and Reset style puts a style back to how it started, including some choices that every style shares.

Undoing a change

• To undo a font, colour, size or other choice: tap the option you had before. Every option is a named chip, so going back is one tap.
• To undo a Shuffle: open More ways to tweak it and tap Undo in the A new take row. It goes back one take at a time, up to your last 10 takes.

Resetting a style

1. Open More ways to tweak it (on a phone, the More tab).
2. At the foot, tap Reset style. With a mouse, the tip says 'Back to how Marker started: font, colour, size and everything here' (with your style's name).
3. It happens straight away. There's no 'Are you sure?'.

What Reset style leaves alone

• Your big words. Only Back to our pick in Big words resets those.
• Your clip window.
• The format you're looking at (16:9 or 9:16).
• Other styles' fonts, backgrounds and own rows.

Tips

• Note your colour before you reset, especially if you typed a brand colour code. Reset puts colour back to Our pick in every style.
• Changes on the Sync step have their own Undo. See Are my sync fixes saved, and can I undo them?

If something goes wrong

• I tapped Reset style by mistake. Tap Undo to get your take back. Then pick your font, colour, size and other choices again. If you used a brand colour, type its code again in + Your colour.
• My colour changed in every style after a reset. That's expected: colour is shared by every style. Pick it again once and every style has it back.
• Undo is greyed out. There's no earlier take to go back to. Undo doesn't undo other changes.
