The words seem to appear just before I sing them. Is my sync wrong?

Check the style reveal and your listening device before shifting every lyric line.

Words can arrive slightly before they are sung as part of a style's reveal. A listening device can also make sound arrive later than the picture. Check both before shifting your lyrics.

Check before changing timing

  1. Listen through the device's own speaker or wired headphones.
  2. On Sync, play a line you know well.
  3. Compare the same line in the style preview.
  4. If only the style looks early, its reveal may be the reason. If only wireless playback looks early, do not correct every line to match that device.

Some styles use a short lead of a few frames, and words in a group can appear together. That does not mean every style brings every word in at exactly the same point.

Correct a real offset

If the lines remain consistently early or late on Sync, open 'More tools' and use 'Shift every line'. It moves the lines up to one second towards 'Earlier' or 'Later'. Listen again and use 'Reset' if needed.

For one wrong line, use the guided check or 'Tap along'. Do not repeatedly press 'Too early' just to compensate for one listening device.

The render puts the uploaded audio and picture into one file, but playback equipment can still affect what you hear. Check the downloaded file on another device before changing a correct sync.
