The preview is blank, black or stuck on 'Getting <Style> ready…'

If the preview stays blank, black or on 'Getting … ready…', try these steps in order. If it plays but stutters, use Slow preview instead.

1. Wait for the song and style to finish loading.
2. Check your connection and reload the saved project. If a change says it has not saved, keep a note of it first.
3. Update the browser and check that graphics acceleration is enabled where your browser offers that setting.
4. Temporarily allow lyrik.fm through a script blocker, then reload.
5. Close other heavy tabs. If needed, try your main browser or another device.

The preview uses WebGL2. A graphics feature being unavailable or interrupted can prevent the picture from drawing.

Other messages

• 'The look track is not ready yet.' means the synced track is unavailable. Reopen the song and check its analysis state.
• If style stills could not be made but the live preview works, you can still inspect the style in the player.
• If the picture is present but there is no sound, see No sound.

If it still fails, contact us with the browser, device, style and exact message. Do not send a working sign-in link or your audio.
