Is the preview exactly what I’ll download? Why does it say PREVIEW?

The preview watermark is absent from downloads; browser playback can differ in sharpness and some layouts.

The preview runs the video engine in your browser using your style choices. Your finished download has no preview watermark. Paid downloads have no watermark, logo or end card; an eligible free clip has a small Made with lyrik.fm credit.

Why it says PREVIEW

The studio overlays a fixed diagonal PREVIEW and a small PREVIEW · LYRIK.FM tag. These belong to the preview player and are not part of the exported video, including an eligible free clip.

The free clip's small credit

An eligible free clip has a small Made with lyrik.fm credit in the video. Paid videos, paid clips and the clip included with a full-video purchase have no watermark, logo or end card.

You can watch and change styles without buying a download.

How closely does it match?

The preview is a guide to the timing and design, not a promise that every pixel will match the finished file.

  • To keep playback smooth, the browser can draw the preview at a lower resolution. The finished file uses the quality selected for the download.
  • Behind can choose a different word layout in Safari and iPhone browsers when two layouts measure very closely. Check the finished file, especially portrait margins.
  • Prepare again (free) uses the saved choices from an existing order. It does not apply changes made after that order.

See Downloading again for the difference between an existing order and a new render.

Check your video

  1. Pick a style and change its controls. The preview updates without an Apply button.
  2. Play your chosen clip and check both shapes.
  3. Use Whole song where shown, or the phone timeline controls, to check the rest.
  4. Open the downloaded MP4 before uploading it elsewhere.

If playback struggles, see Slow or choppy previews. For a difference in the finished file, contact us with the project link, style, format and timestamp.
